Description

Geting into the High Uintas Wilderness from Uinta Canyon’s campground could hardly be easier. The nearby trailhead will take you and your companions deeper into the wilderness, but honestly, staying put in camp would be just as pleasant! These sites are scattered along the Uinta River, which offers awesome trout fishing. Since this area is so remote, tent and car camping are ideal, but RVs up to 22 feet long can kick it out here, too. If you’re bringing the whole gang, there’s also a picnic area closeby. It's also on the river, and also downright pleasant. The water at the campground isn’t potable, though, so you’ll need to bring your own supply or be ready to treat any water sources.
