You've been hand selected as a friend, leader, and contributor to the New Outdoors, a group passionate about exploring and protecting our lands. We would love to invite you into the woods with us (not as creepy as it sounds). Our goal is to celebrate the official launch of Hipcamp in the South, and just as importantly, celebrate Texas' thriving outdoor and creative community. So, we're posting up on of our favorite Land Share properties, and are getting some good folks together.
What to expect:
There'll be a small stage setup for the bands to play, a nice dinner, a bonfire, and of course plenty of libations to go around. Oh, and s'mores. Bring your tents if you've got 'em, but if not, tents will be provided by our friends at The North Face but remember to bring a sleeping bag and a pad. If river floating is your game, then make sure to bring a suit and a float (or noodle, we don't judge). Other than that, all you need to do is show up ready to get weird in the wilderness. This is a party to celebrate so many things, including our launch in The Lone Star State, our Land Share Program , but mostly the culture that you have helped to create and foster, so thank you.
- 2pm arrive, claim tents, settle in
- 3pm swimming and creek floatin'
- 5pm explore the land / take hikes
- 7pm sitdown dinner
- 9pm bands play
- 11pm bonfire, s'mores, stargazing
- 8am Stumptown Camp Coffee Demo
- 9am yoga
- 10am coffee and granola buffet
- 11am stewardship and cleanup
- 12pm head out (but really you should go check out adjacent Pedernales Falls State Park)
Where is this place?
The event will take place just an hour west of Austin at Flat Creek Crossing, a 500 acre guest ranch located in the rolling Texas Hill Country. Flat Creek sits adjacent to Pedernales Falls State Park and features towering limestone bluffs, flowing pristine creeks (that means swimming!), caves and a variety of trees and flowering shrubs which surround the campground. Needless to say...this is a killer spot for a great gathering.

Get Outside AND Give Back
For each of the "Under The Stars" campouts we'll be hosting this year, we're raising money for Outdoor Nation, a nonprofit we truly believe in. Outdoor Nation is dedicated to getting more young people outside through grants that serve outdoor youth programs. The event is free, but we'll be accepting donations to Outdoor Nation and you score a sweet reusable Hipcamp x Miir cup for beverages at the event! If you don't plan on donating, be sure to bring your own reusable cup—we're keeping waste to a minimum, so there won't be any disposable cups available.
