You've been hand selected as a friend, leader, and contributor to the New Outdoors, a group passionate about exploring and protecting our lands. We would love to invite you into the woods with us (not as creepy as it sounds). Our goal is to celebrate the official launch of Hipcamp in the Northeast, and just as importantly, celebrate New York's thriving outdoor and creative community. So, we've rented out some beautiful land and are getting some good folks together.
What to expect:
We will have a small stage setup for the bands to play, a nice dinner, a bonfire, and of course plenty of libations to go around. For all of you that are a bit limited on camping supplies, tents will be provided by our friends at The North Face but remember to bring a sleeping bag and a pad. Other than that, all you need to do is show up ready to have fun. This is a party to celebrate the culture that you have helped to create and foster, so thank you!
- 3pm arrive, claim tents, settle in
- 5pm explore the land and take hikes
- 7pm sitdown dinner at long table
- 9pm woods + caveman play
- 11pm bonfire, s'mores, stargazing
- 8am early riser coffee
- 9am yoga
- 10am coffee and granola buffet
- 11am stewardship and cleanup
- 12pm head out
Where is this place?
The event will take place on 155 acres in the Hudson Valley, NY. The property is called Meadowgreens and it's located in Ghent, NY which is a little over 2 hours from Manhattan. It has wide open space perfect for camping, stargazing, lush hillsides and wildflower meadows. Needless to say...this is a great spot for a party!

Get Outside AND Give Back
For each of the "Under The Stars" campouts we'll be hosting this year, we're raising money for Outdoor Nation, a nonprofit we truly believe in. Outdoor Nation is dedicated to getting more young people outside through grants that serve outdoor youth programs. Even though the event (incl. food, drink, music and accommodation) is free, we're hoping you'll consider making at least a $20 donation per ticket to Outdoor Nation in lieu of an admission charge. This donation also gets you a reusable metal Miir cup for beverages at the event. And, ya know, you don't want to be the guy or gal drinking from your hands :)
