Our stay with Lori and Chuy was short but sweet. We were lucky to find this unique and private spot to park our van. We slept well by the river and Lori made us a delicious breakfast in the morning before our departure. Getting to visit with the animals was an extra treat!
This is a beautiful place to camp. You see and feel how thoughtful and lovingly it was created by Kimberly and her husband. She was really helpful from the beginning as we were a large group with lots of questions. Beyond her control was the windstorm that hit during our stay. It was a memorable adventure tonsay the least, and we shall return.
We were a large group of 17. Gloria was really helpful through he entire process and suggested that we rent the cabin and set up our tents around it. It was perfect for us--we had the cabin and its kitchen, the outdoor shower (loved it!), and lots of space. We enjoyed milking the goats and having them visit our camp, playing with the chicks, and the sky with all of its stars. While it was a very hot weekend, we took advantage of the creek nearby. It's a beautiful area that feels so far from Los Angeles, but is really very close. Gloria and Christian are passionate about their project and it feels great to be a part of it. They produce delicious products--we bought milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, and meat. Gloria gave us a sample of cajeta. It was all delicious! The only thing that proved a bit difficult was the portable toilet. All in all, we had a wondeful
