Large property which is very private and has a nice access to the river where one can imagine there's no road and buildings on the other side. It does get very muddy and hard to navigate when it rains though.
Gerardo was generally a very helpful host and made sure that our stay went smoothly.
Arriving at night proved to be slightly challenging but well worth it. In fact, the approach leading through the hills and progressively narrower roads until one reaches a point where it seems like any visible signs of civilization are left behind adds to the experience.
Although not strictly speaking "wild camping", it's pretty close. The serene river, flickering fireflies, droning forest sounds of insects, and divine Milky Way above made it a particularly nice spot to meditate at night. On the other hand, waking up with the birds and Sun seeping through, spilling warm colors all over the valley fills one with energy right from the get go.
