Hawk Meadow Camp is a 68 acre working farm. Camping here allows you to experience both the function and elegance of our land. You can quite literally dip your toes into our pristine creek or dabble in the world of log-grown woodland mushroom production.

All our sites are spacious and private. Trails meander our property and swimming holes await an afternoon splash. Wander through our gardens, pick an apple to eat, let your feet sink into the lush grass of our open fields or sit in the sun and watch the birds. All of our sites can be accessed by car and are near one of two compost-style outhouses.

Our farm specializes in log-grown woodland mushrooms such as shiitake, lion's mane and oyster. We use the mushrooms to make medicinal tinctures and to sell fresh or dried to local restaurants (The Stonecat Cafe, Hazelnut Kitchen, Just A Taste and more!) We also produce maple syrup, jams and jellies from our garden fruit and harvest construction posts and lumber from our abundant Black Locust trees. Visit our farm store while you are here! Our farm is also the home of Acorn Designs, an eco-friendly paper products company specializing in journals and note cards. Talk to founding artist and farm owner Steve, and peruse the artwork of over 30 artists in our on-site working studio.

We follow organic methods and sustainable practices in all that we do, and our farm is inspired by the principles of permaculture. We have a great love and respect for the natural world and strive to work in harmony with nature not only in all our agricultural practices, but in just living our lives.
