We loved our stay at Keachi Acres! Mary is the perfect host; she's got an amazing property with oodles of hiking trails, a pond for fishing, stunning scenery and a rather silly/lonely duck that followed my daughter and son around the property. Loved it-couldn't recommend enough!
Susan really helped us out of a bad spot when our other Hipcamp reservation fell through at the last minute. The Nut House was a cozy spot for us to rest our weary heads. We recommend Tawney Farm wholeheartedly!
Flannel Dog Farms was fantastic. Jeff and Chris were kind, generous and knowledgeable hosts. We had our pick of camp sites, laid-back tutorials on an array of hobby farm pursuits (beer brewing, geese, chickens, oh my!), firefly catching and even a lovely breakfast (with homemade bread and quiche) after we got caught in an early morning downpour. The property is lovely, very well-appointed and there's even a curmudgeonly mini-horse to visit. If you're looking for a romantic spot or traveling with kiddos (like us), we can't think of a better spot.
Whiskey Camp was great! We had a few choices of camp sites, a view of woods on one side and a charming lake on the other, and fell asleep under the stars. Our host shared his awesome fire pit and picnic table with us, and we even scored bathroom access before bedding down. All in all, it was a fine place to rest our heads,
Mustang Valley was our first night's stay on a cross-country road trip. It was an ideal spot to access the park. Mark runs a casual, but professional ship and we had no issues with the camp whatsoever. He provided us with a tent lantern with a USB port which was handy, and the existing tent was well-lighted and well situated for early morning stunning views. We used the outdoor shower without any problems, even though the camp seemed at capacity there was still hot water when we got to it. All and all, a great way to start our trip.
