Money's Rest was a great time! However, you should know that the beach as pictured in the listing has since been worn away by erosion and is now more of a drop-off than a beach. It's about a 4-5ft drop down to the water from the campsite and there are a number of fallen trees in the way. You can still access the water by walking through the woods a bit down the coastline, but bring watershoes as it can be rocky.
The site itself was clean and well kept, it had a wonderful view over the bay and there was a fire-pit and table already on set up. The site itself was private and blocked in by trees on each side, and the road it's on leads to a dead end so there was minimal traffic. Brandon was a great host and had offered Kayak rentals at the time of our visit.
I would definitely still recommend Money's Rest for the campsite and views of the Bay, but be warned that the beach isn't what it used to be unfortunately.
Cedar Creek was amazing! We went up with 4 people and 3 dogs on a 4th of July weekend, Tim met us when we arrived and showed us around the property. We were the only ones there so we were allowed to set up camp wherever we wanted. The sites are tucked back into the woods far away from any other residences or roads but were still accessible by car, we were able to pull our vehicles right up to the campsite and unload. We set up our tents and a fire pit right alongside the pond and were able to go kayaking a bit in the pond, and there are larger rivers about a 10 minute drive from the site. We stayed for about 4 days and Tim stopped by once or twice to see how everything was going, really nice guy. Would highly recommend staying here, it was a great weekend and we had the whole place to ourselves. 10/10
