Stayed at #1 and #9 (original reservation was for #9 but had trouble navigating it in the dark and struggling with a low tire so ended up at #1) both were great. Jason was super helpful with the tire, met his mom, too who was super sweet. Loved the privacy, weather was a bit damp, would love to see this place on a sunny weekend! the outhouses were clean and not smelly at all, never used the shower so don't know about that. it's a bit far and it was only a couple days, so roughed it. will definitely be back.
Spent 2 nights here. It's a very pretty and comfortable spot overall. Drawbacks: road noise and ZERO privacy as it's just open grass. Location is good. Overall I liked it and it was convenient for visiting Yellowstone. We didnt trail ride but I wish we could have. Never met the owner, we booked it very last minute and showed up after biz hours, but he had one of his workers check up on us. Note: the camp sites are across the street from the ranch building where all the signs for riding horses are. A worker had to tell us where to go, as it was unclear.
I would stay here again depending on the price. The location is gorgeous, the host is super nice. Next time I'd really like to explore more and go for a trail ride. The field we were all camping in was littered with prickly plants and dried cow poop. The poop actually wasn't an issue to me, it was 100% dry and will eventually be gone. But the plethora of prickly plants...thank goodness I had a little shovel. I spent 30 sweaty minutes cleaning out our spot which I wasn't happy about. (We had our child with us, and I didn't want him getting hurt. And they do hurt!)
