The host is amazing and is worth the trip. But, in addition, the place is incredible and the food is delicious. Do not hesitate to book this one! Everyone gets treated like royalty here. Beautiful sights, stars, and wildlife !
The hosts surround you with verbal and nonverbal psychic and Wiccan offers of connection and insight. This may make some people uncomfortable but they are serious about it and are very intense. It seems that guests either really like the hosts efforts or they resent them. They have good intentions— the husband is friendly but Ida seems to be nice to some people and curt to others. We struggled, but others seemed to like it. As another reviewer described, you are in a fishbowl. The listing says that you can set up anywhere in ten acres, but us ( and everyone during our five day stay) was packed into about an acre— including the cabins and teepee—in their yard ( as other reviews mention) and the hosts are there all the time. It is a communal setting and most sites are 50-100 yards from a loud highway. The ranch is well manicured and the hosts obviously love their flowers and land. They begin setting up the porch at 6 am, wake everyone up for coffee on the porch, and then make suggestions on how to do things all day and watch over everyone all night. Again, If you like this deep of involvement, then you will love this place. Everyone shares one bathroom (lots of people) but it seems to work ok. The price wasn’t bad so I would recommend this as just a one night stopover if you just need a cheap place to sleep.
The hosts are friendly and helpful. This cabin on the edge of their land is remote and rustic, but they provide water and wood to make things manageable. Beautiful scenery everywhere and plenty of hiking trails!
