At first you don't realize what you are getting into. You think you're just staying on a typical farm, but then you realize that your campsite is directly in the middle of it all. Alpacas are released from their pens during the day and graze all around your campsite. It's quite magical. And Mike, the owner, is very helpful and will take his time to show you around and answer any questions.
Great place to camp and an even better one to take kids. My son had an amazing time. Couldn't recommend it more.
Also, conveniently located to a number of activities all around the Delaware Water Gap.
WOW! This was the highlight of my trip to the area. Cabin was rustic with outstanding views. You can really just hang out and relax on the mountain.
The host, Blake, is great and really made our stay extra easy.
Please note: The hike from the parking lot is a bit more difficult than "moderate". It's a 2.5m hike uphill with some real steep bits. Its mostly under canopy so you're shaded but just be aware it is a workout, BUT it's worth it!
