Stayed only one night in early spring and it got really cold at night. Sally was nice when we first met but didn’t answer afterwards, when I booked the night I didn’t realize it is in their backyard. The campsite that they have is spacious and pretty as long as you’re not facing the house because then you realize you’re in someone’s backyard. We brought food to cook over the fire but it felt awkward because the fire pit was right next to the house and not on the campsite. When we wanted to cook our breakfast we didn’t want to go down by their house because there were people outside walking around so we had to go out to eat. The bathroom was a shed with a bucket and a glass door that faces their backyard and fire pit which also made my group uncomfortable, especially needing to use it in the daylight in the am. There’s two cute dogs that roam their property which was fine but scared the crap out of me when they barked right next to our tent at 7a. It’s a nice site for people who don’t mind getting super close to the hosts but as a member of a group expecting to be surrounded by woods, I personally couldn’t see us staying there any longer than we did, which was about a total of 18 hours.
