I enjoyed staying at this isolated camping spot. The site is a short walk downhill into the forest (about 5 minutes or so). Tara was an amazing host checking in with us and answering any questions we had. I would definitely come back again!
If you arrive at night make sure you have a strong flashlight or headlamp. Once you are in the forest you cannot see your hand in front of you.
You can use wood found in the forest for campfires!
I loved this camping spot. The site and pit toilet was clean and it was very quiet. We arrived late at night and had a little difficulty finding the house and the road leaving down the campsite. But was pleasantly surprised when we woke up the next day. Firewood, cast iron skillet, and iron grill were all provided. The pit toilet was clean and the animals were cute to look at. There is lots of hiking spot nearby. Both hipcamp spots are right next to each other with some trees providing some shade. I’d definitely book here again!
