Stayed here for one night on a road trip. It was really nice- the host Christine was very pleasant. Goats, alpacas, sheep, and dogs are close to the campsite behind a fence, but are easily accessible for petting, and it is all very cute. The campsite area is a short walk from where you are allowed to park, so there is a wagon to carry things there. It was a bit more work than being able to park right next to the campsite, but was still easy enough. Felt safe and the drive there was east. Would stay again!
Really nice property. I stayed here just for one night on a road trip and it was a nice stay. We were able to hang with and pet horses, which was a really nice experience. I was able to get here with ease in a Honda civic. These horses are really friendly- perhaps even too friendly. They sniffed around and hung around my tent for much of the night, which was a bit unsettling, having large animals above me when in a vulnerable position in the tent. However, they left eventually and I was able to sleep. The host made sure they were out of the way in the morning. Overall, a worthwhile stay.
Stay was great. I stayed here for just one night as a stop on a multi-day road trip. It was a beautiful property and the host had mowed many areas clear for camping. Although I was only there for a night to rest, there were a lot of trails and sights to see, and I wish I could have stayed longer. Drive goes 4 miles on a rough road before arriving, but I was able to handle it in a Honda Civic. Definitely safe and definitely a great place to stay.
