This site was amazing. It was very private, clean, and beautiful. The river runs along the length of the property, with each of the 4 or 5 sites sitting next to it. The only downside (and it was minor) is that it’s close enough to the road that you’ll hear traffic go by, but the trees are dense enough that you can’t see it at all. Would stay here again!
Staying at Georgette's place was an amazing experience. The valley that her land sits in is beautiful. There are lots of cows that roam the pasture, and you get to camp amongst them, which is pretty unique. There is also the Bunkhouse, which is where my girlfriend, dog and I stayed. It is in an area closed off from the rest of the pasture with an electric fence, so the cows can't get too close. The bunkhouse itself doesn't have water or electricity but is a cozy place to sleep instead of a tent. A firepit and firewood were provided. The biggest downside was that our dog really enjoyed eating and rolling in the cow patties, and we had to wash him off several times.. but I'd say it was worth it for the unique adventure!
