We absolutely loved our stay at Sierra Circles! We were in site 3 which had plenty of shade.
The communal areas were kept very clean and the sites were spacious. Plenty of room to social distance which was important to me because I had been concerned about COVID-19 risks when planning the trip. Guests seemed to be taking it seriously and gave a wide berth to campers outside of their group.
Michel, the camp host, is such a sweet guy and would check in to make sure we were doing ok and gave great recommendations on things to check out in the area. There is a vineyard and tasting area on site, as well as, a pottery store.
We would love to come back!
It’s possible that the site would be more pleasant in the spring with wildflowers but since there is no natural shade cover anywhere nearby it’s pretty bleak in the summer. When we arrived on Saturday it was 99 degrees at around 4:30pm. As described by other raters, it was not as private as you would expect it to be. Since it is a flat open lot you can clearly see the homes scattered throughout the area and they can likely see you.
We left pretty quickly after arriving since we didn’t bring an easy up or anything like it and felt a uncomfortable with the lack of privacy.
