Christina's property is beautiful. We really loved having access to potable water and a flushing toilet. Each site was very well maintained and had a nice bench, level ground for tent set up and a fire pit. The area was so quiet which was great and very peaceful. Christina was very responsive to texts and always replied right away. There was disinfectant in the bathroom to wipe down after every use which made me feel safe. Jenkinson Lake was really fun and clean, and just a short drive from the property. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.
***The following is not in any way reflective of Christina or her property, just things that I wish I knew before (or that I just didn't think about) to be able to prepare for:
There are lost of bugs, mosquitoes, spiders, and yellow jackets. So cooking was a little difficult because of the yellow jackets swarming the food and any water near by attracts them (thirsty little things). The yellow jackets didn't sting us but did swarm around us when cooking, eating, or drinking and swarmed near any bit of liquid. We did get lots of mosquito bites, bring bug spray.
The property is very secluded and there doesn't seem to be much near by so come prepared.
The roads are unpaved but not impossible to drive on. Just be aware that it can get a little bumpy
Some of the site numbers are hard to see or find. It took us a few tries to find our site.
There is a Verizon tower on the property but we did not have phone service except for a bar or two near site 5 and the outhouse (not a big deal just good to know)
Bring cash/exact change if you are bringing a doggo. We had cash but not exact change so while we were out we had to find change so we could pay the $5 per night for bringing our pup.(this was totally our bad, we hardly ever carry cash)
Again, these things are not in any way negative or a reflection of Christina's hospitality. Just good to know before you go.
We had a great time and felt very safe.
This place was awesome! We got the place all to ourselves and it was pretty isolated. The property butts up to a large hill/ rock formation that has an amazing view at the top. The place was clean and had a nice little outdoor toilet and solar shower shack. The Tent platform was nice and big and perfect for our tent. The fire pits were in good condition and we were able to just buy fire wood from Judy. Aside from some livestock noises off in the distance the place was so silent I could almost hear my own heart beat. Not a lot of light pollution so the night sky was amazingly bright even with a large and bright moon.
We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place
Coral Pink Ranch Cowboy Camper was everything we expected and more. We arrived to be greeted with a big hug from Cindy who was so warm and welcoming. She showed us around the beautiful property and gave us the rundown of the ranch.
The camper was nice and clean and had everything we needed to cook and bathe. The kitchen is stocked with all the kitchen essentials including spices and seasonings. All we had to bring was our food. There was also space in the cabinets for us to store our things.
The bathroom was clean, had soaps and fresh towels for us to use. The beds were very comfortable and cozy.
The area outside was so beautiful! We had a barbecue with propane , fire pit, and patio table all to ourselves. The views from the ranch were absolutely breathtaking! This ranch is quite a gem.
Cindy and Don were truly incredible hosts. They were so friendly and easy to talk to. We really enjoyed talking with them. They serve a delicious breakfast every morning that included eggs, toast, coffee, fresh fruits and cereal that we enjoyed every morning we spent there.
I highly recommend staying at the ranch. The location was perfect for exploring as its close to so many national and state parks and many local points of interest . We spent our time exploring Horseshoe Bend in Page Arizona, Bryce Canyon in Utah, Grand Staircase Escalante, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Toadstools, and Moqui cave.
We really loved staying in the camper and we plan to come back again sometime. Cindy and Don nailed it! Thank you!
