We try to find private, secluded sites for primitive tent camping. It was a little hard to find the farm with no actual address. Host was friendly and welcoming. Barn would be great for staying if that's what we like. No set sites on farm (pitch tent wherever you want), but most of farm wasn't mowed or cut down so it's hard to find a flat area. Not many trees either so be prepared for hot and sunny until late in the day. Other than that, we did enjoy our stay when we found a little corner of an old horse pasture.
This was exactly what we wanted! Primitive, private, such gracious hosts! We arrived super late and were still escorted safely to our site, near the babbling creek in a nicely cleared meadow. Plenty of downed wood for a fire. We will stay here every time we come down this way. I almost hope it stays our secret!
Very clean, pleasant campground. The sites were a little too close together, and i was hoping to be farther into the woods. But i felt safe, loved the pond and swing, appreciated the latrine and the firewood.
Nice, clean camping site. Carol was great! I checked in late because of work, no problem. A nice, out of state couple stopped without reservations, no problem. Will definitely recommend and camp there again.
