Past trip
in Mandala Spring, CaliforniaPeaceful, perfect retreat!
This place is idyllic! We swam, sat by the bonfire, played mini golf, enjoyed the creek that surrounds the property and had an overall amazing time! We will be back.

The Nook in a Redwood Mountain
in Hideaway Mountain, CaliforniaA magical escape in the woods
Queen Riz is what we nicknamed Riz (the host) by the end of the trip. She truly went above and beyond to make herself available and ensure we had everything we needed to make our night exceptional. Recommendations on the way up, best place to go for views, firewood and fresh eggs for breakfast...check, check, check. The RV is clean, the fire pit, table, solar lights and swinging chair make the surrounding area perfect for lounging and star gazing. We also walked up the road for an awesome view. Will definitely be coming back here!
Past trip
in Mare Island Preserve, CaliforniaMyrna is one of a kind! She was more than accommodating for our group and ensured we had everything we needed. We spent both nights down at the fire near the visitor center and were able to use the propane bbq to Cook up dinner. The location is certainly unique. The preserve is located on an old military base with tons of abanonded buildings - we went right after Halloween and had fun with the eery vibe felt on the island. We biked, walked up to the Spirit ship, went to the farmers market and enjoyed a coffee tasting in Vallejo.
Past trip
EcoTerra PermacultureOasis RV site1
in Solar Living Center, CaliforniaThis place was such a hidden gem! The actual spot where you put down a tent doesn't look like much but it does have a few picnic tables and garbage/recycling bins. There is a bathroom and shower accessible too which is a huge bonus. The real fun comes when you explore the grounds a bit. This place is located on the property of the "Real Good" store and solar living facility. The store has a beautiful garden area and you can also find a few snacks/drinks available for purchase. It is walking distance from downtown Hopland and was fun to walk into town for dinner that night. While you aren't totally emersed in nature if you are looking for something a bit unique or just a place to rest your head...i 100% recommend!
