First of all- Heather is AWESOME! She is a rescuer mama of nature and animals and has a wonderful spirit. BIG THANK YOU to all the wonderful animal angels she takes care of. we were warmly greeted at the entrance and shown where to camp and our options. There is an outhouse and fire rings and some firewood. Def bare bones camping but that’s the POINT, right? To one side is the the animal sanctuary and the opposite side is a giant field that is half woods.
We LOVE animals so we made friends of Landon the Llama and Ruby the goat. Wolves howl with the ambulances that wail driving by and the rescued Barred Owl hoots midnight and through the early morning. WE LOVED IT. Oh and there are macaws! Anyways, if you don’t like animals I guess you’re not a nice person but this place is not for you. We had a blast and always had privacy even though we were in the sanctuary’s backyard. Ppl have commented at the price but when you see the work that the team here does for the animals is absolutely worth it for these animal so that have had some hard lives. The wolf experience and your is amazing- so DO IT!
Great food nearby and groceries etc.
Def will come back!! Thanks Heather!
