This little hideaway was quirky and cozy, perfect for our one night in Bastrop. The dogs make us feel right at home and welcomed us at the gate. This place is absolutely one of the most charming RVs and chocked full of necessities. My words here will never do it justice. Thanks to our hosts that kept us posted by text which also made us feel like old friends! We will recommend this spot to others and hope to cross paths again one day!
Our family had the place to ourselves the Friday night of Memorial Day weekend. So quiet and remote, lots of options for exploring but we stayed relatively close to the site. The camp
had a huge fire ring and makes a great fire for cooking. Since we had no neighbors we were able to spend time down at the creek and played around in the crystal clear waters. Although shallow in places, it makes a nice place to wade and look for fossils/shells. This is a great alternative to busy state parks or more crowded camping areas in Texas! Thanks, Emory, for sharing your piece of heaven!
