Intro: I’m Laura, an east coast native, currently living in North Carolina with my husband, our son, and our dogs. I am a marketing professional by trade, and my husband is a photographer/videographer. A few years ago, my husband and I full-time RV'd and explored the US. Now that we've "settled" down, we love to go on adventures and explore the outdoors with our son.
We had a great time in our RV at Egypt Lake Camp. It's a very relaxing spot with views of the lake, a picnic table, and fire pit. There is also an electric hook up for RVs, which is great! The tent camping area is also very nice. We will definitely stay again if we're back in the area.
We had a great stay on U Up U Down Ranch at the Niobrara River area. The ranch itself is home to horses, pigs, and cattle - all that you can visit and pet. The horses were so sweet and loved being fed.
The ranch offers plenty of space to spread out and set up camp, including room for campers and RVs. In addition to experiencing the ranch, Lusk's Main Street is close by and offers a few eateries and shops. Custer State Park is about an hour and half drive from the ranch.
The hosts are wonderful! They have a ton of knowledge and suggestions of things to do in the surrounding area.
