The site was beautiful. You really feel secluded and in the middle of a jungle. The river is right in-front of the campsite so you can jump in when you are feeling hot or want to go for a swim.
The only recommendation I can give future campers is to avoid rainy season. The path down to the campsite got very, very muddy because of the rain and we had a hard time going up and down - especially since we had coolers and multiple bags. The site itself can also get pretty muddy so you have to watch that the mud doesn't get into the tent.
Besides the mud, everything else was great. We hiked along the river for about 1.5 hours up stream and found some ponds that were really beautiful.
