The Wild Rose: Site #1
in Wild Plumas, CaliforniaWonderful. Nice and private corner of the owner's property. Amazing night skies. We spent most days on the property. The creek offers coolness during the heat of the day and lots of fun for kids. The family provided a 5 gallon igloo for water at the site and it kept the water cool all day. Yes, mosquitos, but not that bad compared to other places I've been too. Lots of honey bees, which I like, but also some yellow jackets. No issues with squirrels or other rodents and our food.
Overall, I hope to return.
