When we turned into the driveway after driving through north Georgia for a while, and my GPS said “Welcome to Tennessee,” I knew we had booked the right spot.
One of our two hosts didn’t know that the site we were camping even existed (SOLID bush hogging job, Justin). I can’t say enough good things about this sweet little spot with a sweeter little family. If these folks and their little girl don’t inspire you, I honestly don’t know what will.
Justin and Jenna were front and center despite our less-than-on-time arrival; ready for our meet & greet, complete with a guided tour to the spot via a dope game of follow the 4-wheeler.
The property is beyond peaceful, pictures just don’t do it justice no matter how good they are. Even the settlements surrounding the farm (towns are just too big a word to describe them) greeted us with the southern hospitality that most of y’all around the country have heard so much of.
We enjoyed the forest with gorgeous views and no uninvited visitors for three days. I’ll never camp at a public campground again.
A twenty minute drive to Fort Mountain State Park showed us our first black bear, but a couple nights at III Rivers Farm reminded us of our sense of adventure, pushed us to chase it, and allowed us to create lifelong memories.
We can’t wait to come back in the fall.
Thanks again for an amazing experience, guys. You all impacted at least two lives this weekend.
