This experience was everything I hoped it would be. We met up with our friends for three nights at Tyler’s. They had an RV and we had a van. Plenty of parking and room to move for all. We had a group of eight and we made full use of the site, shower, fire and proximity to the river. We packed up each morning to ride mtb trails and returned each afternoon for river floats, dinner on bbq and s’mores by the fire. The dog may have loved it the most. Lots of dog friends came by to say hi and wrestle. Tyler’s description was spot on as were the reviews. U must be comfortable with bathroom sharing and being in a neighborhood.
This was a last minute booking. We left home later than anticipated. Did an Instabook at 8pm and rolled in quietly after 10. We parked in an open mowed field. It was peaceful and safe. We rolled out early this morning.
We stayed here for 3 nights. The site was perfect for our vanlife. Showers were hot and the well water was refreshing. It was exactly as we expected. We used it as our base for all of our adventures. Easy to get to mountain bike trail heads. My daughter was in heaven with the barn cats, farm dogs and horses everywhere. She thought showering and washing dishes in the stables was the coolest thing ever. I enjoyed the quiet coffee time each morning. I hope to visit Christoph and Jenny annually.
This was a last minute booking. Matt was kind enough to accept it. The spot was clean, level and exactly as described. It was peaceful. The horses were friendly and provided dinner entertainment. We would stay here again.
My daughter and I loved this spot. It was quiet and perfect for our over night needs. We drove right to it and immediately made a fire and consumed s’mores before bed. The walk to the pit toilet was decorated with small colored trail lights and we actually took a picture because it was adorable.
Mark was amazing making sure we knew where we were going, advised we grab a bundle of firewood and confirmed we got settled.
I would stop here again. I am definitely a short visit type camper, but I think it would be enjoyable for a couple days of camping, visiting and playing cards (if I could stay in place that long).
