Greg greeted us on the dock and walked us around to help choose a site. He was very helpful in pointing out hazards such as a small creek (camping with a toddler) and poison ivy. He was very friendly and polite and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and even brought us a fresh water source, potty, and fire pit. He offered us use of his outdoor shower and showed us around his garden- growing so many beautiful things such as grapes for wine and hops. He was very informative as to growing practices and planting- we had a fun little lesson about the grapevines he was planting and hope to come back again to see their progress. He was helpful in offering suggestions for nearby hikes and activities and made sure to be available for anything we needed while still offering us a private setting to relax and unwind. We chose a campsite near a small creek with trees to hang out hammocks and it was so peaceful and beautiful. We would 100 percent stay with Greg again. He even jumped off our car when the battery died- oops! For a small family of three with a toddler and a friend this site was perfect. We especially enjoyed the very close proximity to table rock and keowee state park- both within 15 minutes drive. Perfect place if you want to relax away from the busyness of life and have the amenities you need close by.
