Intro: Native Californian, yoga instructor, calculus tutor, farmer, builder, outdoor enthusiast, sometime wanderer, and fortunate chosen human of the world's sweetest dog. We love to camp and hike in wild places, and also to meet new friends.
As advertised, relatively remote and undisturbed, with miles of dirt roads for hiking, biking, etc. Far enough off the highway to feel secure and quiet; near enough to be a convenient waypoint. The directions, while accurate, could've been better; it would have helped to know that what appears on Google maps and in the host's directions as Rosewood Blvd is only marked on the ground with a BLM signpost as RM91, and the Air Force tower very near the site might have been mentioned as a useful landmark. Given the complete lack of both amenities and communication from the host, next time I'd spend my money on maps instead and camp on the adjacent BLM land for free.
