A large pile of excellent firewood was supplied at the large fire pit. The pond is teeming with bird, fish, butterflies and dragonflies. Very scenic, peaceful meadow. The nearby creek beneath the covered bridge is a hidden gem. The horses and border collies are sweet and friendly.
So you discover HipCamp and you hope it's as great as it seems it should be... and Jeff's farm delivers, and then some! We've camped here several times and will be back often. Hope it stays a secret for a while, though, we love it so much. Like typical Oregonian campers we hesitate to share our favorite places so they don't get too popular. (keeping' it real!)
Such a great spot. Pleasant views in all directions, plenty of space to chill, build a nice fire, watch the stars, walk around the meadows, etc. Jeff is a great host and is very quick to reply via text.
Jeff’s location, combined with his foresight about so many practical details that we vagabonds of all shapes and sizes want and need (glampers, too) adds up to a wide open spaces, serene and peaceful camping situation.
Ps. Don’t tell anyone about this place; it’ll be our little secret!
