I've stayed at Songdog many times. This was my first at the Draw Camp, and it did not disappoint. We felt very private, rarely saw the other campers, and of course, its Songdog - so you get the amazing views, the starry skies, the hikes. Awesome place!
Awesome, awesome, awesome. The site is nestled right off the tree line of John’s vineyard. So its a best-of-both-worlds situations. I could toss the ball around to play with our dogs in the open, grassy fields, then cozy up under the trees with the fire.
John was a great host and we really hit it off and started chatting about all types of things. I with we stayed more than one night so we could have enjoyed the site more and continued the conversation with John!
Wow. Deer Camp was amazing. I saw that it was ranked first in Tennessee before we arrived, so we already had elevated expectations, and our stay even exceeded those.
Everything thing - every little detail - we perfect. It is beautifully designed, meticulously maintained, and lovingly adorned. If you’re looking at this listing, just book it. You would never regret it.
This is my fourth time staying at Songdog. It's an amazing piece of land. Extremely quiet, big sites very generously spaced apart, great hike on the property. Star gazing is breathtaking and Jim is a great, hospitable host.
This is *the* site that made be believe in Hipcamp as a service. Songdog sets the bar.
We had a ton of fun. The weather was above 110, but having the lake available made it not only do-able, but a really great time. Anytime we felt hot, we could take 5 steps and cool off in the water. We all appreciated it, especially our dog. I never had to worry about him overheating.
Allen was great; wood and ice available are very reasonable prices. He'll even tote the wood to your site.
The stars were amazing. Spectacular views of the milky way. Absolutely gorgeous. We'd definitely come back for another trip.
