Amazing spot on a beautiful island surrounded by Maine coastal water. Watch the tide come in and go out and hear the wind wander though the deciduous forest leaves. The sites are well spaced and feel fairly private. Each has a picnic table and fire ring. You paddle to a beach where there are carts to help you bring gear to your site (not far). If it is high tide, it is a very short paddle to the island (maybe 1000 ft). If it is low tide, it is a little longer because you have to go the long way around the island, but it's not too far (probably less than 1/2 mile). There is great canoeing/kayaking around the area (look for seals). The hosts are great people who take hospitality seriously. Hope to be back soon!
