Beautiful site, feels very private and secluded. A little hard to find at first, since the big wooden gate fell down over the winter. Rod is a great host, came by to check on us every day and bring more firewood and water.
The Treehouse is beautiful and feels very private. The bed is comfortable, and the deck overlooks a lovely creek. The spring fed pool is great, and the rest of the property is in the process of being upgraded by Joe.
The shared bathrooms however, are not to the level that I'd expect for this price. When I went to use them, the showers were full of mosquitos, and the stall door did not latch closed. With a little more careful upkeep, the Pine Grove Resort could be great. But it's not there yet.
Beautiful spot nestled behind between steep hills and a beautiful barn. Can get a bit chilly at night, even if it's 90 during the day. The bed was very comfortable, and Heinrich took good care of us. My allergies were a bit piqued, but it's been a bad hay season this year.
Beautiful secluded spot in the redwoods. John and Lesley were great hosts, and brought us fresh zucchini bread made with their duck eggs. We stopped for fresh oysters in Marshall, and ate them on the deck with local cheese from Point Reyes.
