We rented an 30ft RV during the Covid19 pandemic to drive my elderly mother home safely from Florida to Wisconsin; it was a rather stressful trip, as we had never driven an RV before and were especially concerned about avoiding people. The Art Farm was absolutely lovely in every way, beginning with the prompt and gracious communications before our arrival. We had to change plans a bit, navigating a hurricane and a broken AC that required the RV to be in the shop a few days, and Laura was most understanding and helpful. The area surrounding the farm is beautiful rolling hills horse country, and the farm was very easy to find and convenient to the highway and Paducah. When we arrived, we couldn't have been more pleased. Laura greeted us warmly upon arrival, and helped us figure out the best place to park, assuring us that anywhere we liked was just fine and helping us navigate our RV under trees, offering to move her car and making sure we found the exact spot we wanted. The farm, a quiet and tidy spot, is beautiful. It is more of a house (where they live), with a beautiful grassy lawn, surrounded by fields, a horse pasture and trees, than a traditional farm that you might imagine, but it is home to a friendly horse, an even friendlier cat, and a chicken. It is very carefully and lovingly maintained, and we felt completely relaxed and safe. There are a handful of options for folks who don't have a tent or RV, including a very cute little cottage, and there's a hose with portable water, a moveable fire pit and a very nice outdoor shower. We set up our spot on the grass, overlooking the fields and trees, and it was perfect. Laura was just a text away if we needed anything, but left us to our selves to enjoy the peace and quiet. We were the only ones there, so it was especially private of course, but there are only a few sites and I think even if it was full we would feel very private and peaceful. We would absolutely return should we find our way in that neck of the woods, and I highly recommend it.

The Farm Girl and Friends
in The Farm Girl and Friends, IllinoisConvenient and peaceful
We stayed here our very first night in our rented 30ft RV, and having never driven or stayed in an RV before, and were rather anxious. The Farm Girl is very convenient to the interstate and easy to find. We arrived later than we had planned, and it was already dark, but Rhinda stayed up for us, helped us plug in the RV, and was very welcoming, helpful and kind. We plugged in by her house, and there were a few tent campers in the yard -- it was very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by farm fields, and felt very safe. In the morning we took a lovely walk along the dirt road through the early summer fields.

Springs/Nature Paradise
in 4A River Camp, FloridaLakeside Paradise & Great Sunsets
in Brooks Lake, a piece of Heaven, GeorgiaWe had to wait out a hurricane driving from Iowa to Florida, and wanted a last-minute peaceful spot where we could relax and swim for the afternoon and enjoy a campfire in the evening. Lakeside Paradise was perfect. Communication before we arrived was prompt, and it was easy to find in a rural area just off the highway outside Atlanta. There are several gated entrances to the lakeside camping; we were greeted on the road and talked through what area would be best for us. We had never driven an RV before, and were anxious about navigating our 30ft rental down the gravel road and to our spot in the grass. The owner and the caretaker, both very warm and friendly, were incredibly patient helping us find a level spot and get settled (using our generator), and we felt very comfortable and safe. There was a pavilion with a barbecue, and a group had reserved the spot for the evening, and there was a sprinkling of folks fishing, and across the lake there were a handful of tent-campers, but it wasn’t at all crowded or loud. The lake is clear and cool, and we enjoyed a swim; by evening, we had the area to ourselves, and it was beautiful.
Suwannee River Glamping
in Suwannee River Camp Retreat, FloridaRV Farm Stay, NW GA
in Farm get-a-way NW GA, GeorgiaWe absolutely loved this place! I stayed here with my my two daughters, my husband, and our dog for one night on our drive from Iowa to Florida; we rented a 30ft RV to pick up my mom in Florida and return her home to Wisconsin safely during the Covid19 pandemic, and we wanted to stay in places that were isolated and quiet, interesting and beautiful, easy to access off the highway, and easy to navigate for a rookie RV driver. The RV Farm Stay fit the bill to a tee, and was absolutely perfect. Erin was incredibly patient and helpful when I reached out with questions before I reserved, and he greeted us (from a safe social distance!) upon our arrival, immediately putting our minds at ease and making us feel safe, welcomed and relaxed. After a stressful 9hr drive and a later than expected arrival, the warm welcome, convenience, attention to detail and beautiful surrounds of the RV Farm Stay was ideal. There is one RV spot, with a plug-in, a fire pit (with a neatly stacked pile of wood, purchased in advance), a picnic table and a potable water pump. It sits between the blueberry patch and a small barn, and Erin’s house is just beyond the barn. We had total privacy, and it was very peaceful. The small farm, in a very tidy and lovely rural suburban area northwest of Atlanta, sits just off a quiet road, and hugs woods and hills. There is a vegetable garden and orchard, and Erin and his wife raise goats, sheep, pigs and chickens (we took the farm tour, which was low key and fun). They sell the goat milk products they make (among other things) at the local farmers’ market — we bought some delicious elderflower tonic, made with the elderflowers they grow on-site. I would absolutely recommend RV Farm Stay — I wish our schedule worked out that we could have stayed here on our way back north, and look forward to returning should we find ourselves in the area.
