This was our second time staying at Belle and Beau Acres - this time at site 3. We love the privacy at this spot, and also the convenience of being close to the creek trails. Christine does an amazing job keeping up the place, ensuring the sites are in good shape, clean, etc. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the creek, and even did an hour-long (each way) creek hike to a waterfall. What a unique experience! Christine is a responsive and helpful host. We’ll be back again, for sure! This is exactly the sort of experience we are craving in these times - natural beauty, remoteness, privacy, not a lot of shared space/amenities, etc. (ps - for those that use the comfort station, it is definitely kept clean and wiped down each day...we just have our own privacy tent for our camp toilet.)
We booked site 2 and site 3 with friends. Site 2 was an amazing place to spend the day playing in the creek - perfect for a hot day! We ended up setting all our tents up at site 3, as there is more space there and it is a bit further from the road. (The road is not busy, but cars do pass by on it.) At night the stars, and the fireflies, were out in full force! However, the highlight of our trip was Patti and Gil’s hospitality. They are the nicest hosts, and invited us to explore their farm, meet their animals (and help feed them), play on their tree swings, and hike through the moss forest to the edge of their property. They even sent us home with some farm fresh eggs! This was a great weekend away from Nashville.
Amazing!!! Christine has done an amazing job setting up private campsites in a beautiful setting. In these times of social distancing, this was a perfect set up. Our tent site was private, and we spent a few hours down at the creek/waterfall almost entirely by ourselves. So beautiful and peaceful! We will be back (maybe as soon as next weekend!), this place is near perfect!
