Fire Fly Cove
in Art Farm Fennville, MichiganOur first stop on our trip up the coast of Lake Michigan. Fire Fly Cove was nestled among the trees in a mowed area of grass. We found a nice cushion of moss to pitch our tent on. Christine was very friendly and the property was beautiful. A short drive from downtown Saugatuck, it was a cheaper and more exciting alternative to staying in a hotel.
Had access to a toilet and a nice, refreshing, cold shower in the morning. The barn was filled with quirky objects and art supplies to flex your creative muscles. A memorable stop on our trip!
The only problem we had was the firewood quality was less than ideal (large, damp pieces). You might be better off bringing your own if you'd like to have a fire OR you could ask for an axe to chop off some smaller pieces.
Overall a great, unique experience. Would recommend.
