in Private Beach Farm, CaliforniaThis place is truly a gem. There were 2 families with 6 kids total, all 5 and under. The whole place provided unlimited entertainment for everyone especially for the kids. So many things to explore and do: meeting all the animals at the barnyard, the different beautiful plants, the rooms with its unique designs (which included cots), the little swing located just outside the greenhouse, the train passing, the mini stroll to the private beach, and the cob pizza oven!
On top of all that, the host, Jinger, was pleasant and accommodating. She was even kind enough to give us some Moringa plants to take home from her garden! It was a memorable place indeed!

in Desert Mountain Majesty, CaliforniaMy family of four recently stayed here for one night. We would've loved to stay longer but we have two toddlers with us and the thought of staying more than two nights in the desert in Summer was not ideal for us. Our girls, 2 and 4, absolutely had an amazing time playing, running around (with our supervision, of course), and experiencing the awesomeness of the campground. There are only 3 camp sites and there's a really nicely set up common area where people can hang out and meet other friendly folks. We also appreciated that the area where there is a bit of a drop off is bordered with ropes so it was easy for the kids to know where not to go. The bathroom/outhouse was kept spotless at all times but the best part is having an outdoor shower in the middle of the desert! There was also a fire pit on a lower level accessible via some brick steps. We didn't use it but I bet that area would be incredible during cold nights. Our experience with this place was nothing short of fun. You can't beat sleeping under the stars on a warm summer night. We love camping and we're glad we discovered this one! We'll most likely come back and experience it on a different season!
