Hit a thunderstorm on the way there so we got there later than anticipated. Logan was still very welcoming with our late arrival. Be mindful that roads can get muddy with rain (glad we had 4x4). Overall it was a beautiful property and we wish we had more time to explore it.
Clark and Lora are the kind of people that it doesn't take more than a 5 minute conversation to know they are great people. When we arrived, we felt immediately welcomed. Clark went out of his way to look for us down the road to make sure we didn't have trouble finding the place. Before unloading our stuff we were shown around (bathroom, campsite, etc.) and were told we were free to roam around. One of the highlights of the trip was hanging out with the pair of goats that love being petted. They also have a pair of sweet dogs that will come say hi every once in a while. When it comes to the campsite you really can't ask for more. It has all you need and more. There is a grill great for cooking and having a bonfire, there are some cooking utensils free to use, and a nice sturdy table. We were told we could grab wood from around to use for the fire. We had a very pleasant evening in our private campsite. The following day Clark told us there was no rush for us to leave and that we could stay for as long as we wanted. Which we did for as long as we could before having to go back into town for other commitments. Overall, this is a great place with amazing hosts. I highly recommend and will definitely come back sometime in the future.
