Truly a magical place!! Cedar Bloom has everything you could want from a camping/glamping experience. Our favorite part was the sauna and access to the river. After staying in countless hipcamps across the west coast, Cedar Bloom is my favorite. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance.
The Redwood Stumphouse is the perfect place to stay on your northern California road trip. The Stumphouse is in the forest behind Julie's house but still feels very private. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest.
My fiancee and I have been to several hip camps throughout California and this was by far one of our favorites! Site #3 is perched on top of a hill overlooking Moro Bay/rock. The site was completely private and included everything you need. 10/10 would recommend!
This cabin is a peaceful, private, and beautiful place to stay. A well designed cabin hand-built by Steve with everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. The best part is access to the Shenandoah River and the kayaks/canoes. Steve is such a great host. I would definitely recommend staying here for a trip to Virginia!
Wonderful campsite right outside Lassen Volcanic National Park. The campsite has everything you could need: toilets, showers, fire pits, a store, and a restaurant. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Great place to stay for a last minute trip to Yosemite. It is located in Groveland ~30 minute drive from the park entrance and walking distance from downtown Groveland. There are bathrooms (even a shower), outdoor kitchen, and communal fire pit for campers to use on site. Site 3 is the most private.
