Bill the host and his wife were very nice. The spot is on their property with a very scenic country backdrop. Its beautiful country. There is a fish hatchery and creek just down the road. This spot would be good for inexperienced campers, perhaps those with mobility issues or very young children who would like the experience of camping, but with the safety of being within view of the hosts home, directly off of their long driveway. Understandably, the hosts and guests use the driveway. The traffic back and forth is somewhat akin to at a formal campsite. The tree tent itself was an opportunity to try something new, and my two children slept in that while I slept in a three person tent we put up mostly to hold bags and for changing clothes. We felt three people tossing in their sleep which caused the tent to move (again understandably, its suspended from three trees about four feet off the ground) would be less comfortable.
We were looking for a more remote experience and are experienced campers. I could not tell from the pictures online ahead of time that the grove of trees where the tree tent is set up is directly next to the hosts driveway and within sight and earshot of the hosts home. Also, on one side, the hosts neighbors home is about 25 yards away. Again, I do want to emphasize that while I think the host could more completely describe how close you are to his home and the driveway in the listing, it is well maintained in beautiful country and for the right folks could be a good fit.
