Beautiful, private little campsite that is just far enough in to the woods to feel remote but close enough that it isn't a hassle to walk your gear in! Great pre-made fire ring that we enjoyed as the nights get much cooler, and even has a babbling brook running along side it for some lovely white noise to fall asleep to. The grounds have wonderful shade from tall trees, a little path to explore that leads to a blocked mine and cabin ruins, and we even saw some foxes! We really enjoyed heading up to Ned for breakfast and hiking around lake Brainard for the day. Love this camp, would def come back.
The first night we slept under the peach trees and it was loud with traffic so we moved into the blueberries the next night. Grass was soft and it was much quieter. Highly recommend asking for this option, the stars are amazing! A lovely sight after a day of wine tasting in the area!
