This was my first time using Hipcamp, but Camille's farm was the perfect place to do it. We looking for a place to stay for one night as we were passing through Richmond in the middle of a road trip to Nashville from New York. We booked campsite 2 — it was beautiful, quiet, secluded and private, at the edge of a field that made us feel like we had a little bit of space to ourselves. A great alternative to crowded public campgrounds. You do have to walk about five minutes from your car to the site, which is not a big deal – it had rained the day we arrived but wasn't muddy at all. Camille was a gracious host and shared some beautiful cherry tomatoes with us as we headed out.
