Intro: I'm a systems engineer based in Baltimore, MD, and need to continuously immerse myself in nature to stay sane and happy! I love travelling solo, or with my pup and girlfriend. I try to be extremely respectful of my hosts and practice LNT religiously.
OK y'all, this place is EXACTLY as spectacular as you think it is. It really is as beautiful of a campsite and unique of an experience as it appears in the photos and description. It's well worth the slightly higher cost compared to other nearby campsites. Seriously, I wish I could have stayed another night, and I would love to come back.
The site was spacious and private, and the views were beautiful. Benjamin was a thoughtful and accommodating host. The only thing I need to warn about is the lack of cell service (I have Verizon), but that's not unique to Jenner. I rarely had service travelling down the 1 until I hit San Francisco.
Nathan's place was awesome! When you pull up, it feels like you're just in another suburb but as soon as he welcomes you and shows you the property, you realize there's quite a bit of charm, space, and privacy. His back yard is cozy and there are many different places that you could pitch a tent and feel like you're secluded.
Nathan himself was an incredibly welcoming host. It was a pleasure to share a beer with him and chat about anything and everything, but he was also respectful of my time and privacy. Nathan and his partner were hospitable, kind, and accommodating.
Nadia was a fantastic host! She was responsive, accommodating, and friendly. The site itself is a large strip of the charming farm, with plenty of options for privacy. Being dog-friendly is a huge perk, but keep in mind that they have farm animals nearby that could excite your pup. I was just passing through for the night, but I took a quick walk in the morning and the surrounding area is quiet and pleasant.
