Intro: I'm a farm girl, nature lover and spontaneous traveler. I love to camp in the woods, comb a beach, sing from a mountaintop and touring a city can be fun, too. I am a HipCamp host and I use HipCamp when I travel.

We are a 3-generation farm growing food sustainably. We have free-range poultry and 2 greenhouses and lots of horticultural expertise. We process our own food the old-fashioned way by canning and preserving. We can even show you how it's done! Rural and remote near Stanton, Missouri, there are no neighbors, but the trees and the birds. Unplug your phone, hang your hammock- It's all about being in nature!
We enjoy the quiet country life which is our family's heritage. We decided to open the farm to like-minded campers who appreciate nature with our inaugural AirBnB event: the 2017 Solar Eclipse. That's why we're called Eclipse Camp. We can (and have!) host over 100 people and still have lots of space to spread out. There are forest views where wildlife is seen frequently. The best part of our farm is Star Gazer Field- the perfect site for night-time star gazing. Come and stay a while if you're traveling down Route 66.
Katherine was a welcoming host, toured me around her farm and introduced me to her flocks and herds. It was lots of fun watching her turn out her friendly goats to graze. The camp site was shady with a campfire area and a nearby shelter for bad weather. Very peaceful and restful.
