i had such an amazing time over at livingston creek upon arrival Danny one of the host took me on a hay ride showing me their lovely property, from their lovely fresh farmers market, beautiful hikes, and having some of the worlds biggest donkeys this property has it all.
because of the rain i did not get a chance to have the full experience of the property but i love seclusion this property provides, as well as some amazing hikes, the host informed that they have a kayak on property but unfortunately i did not get the chance to use it tho i i wish i could've.
very beautiful and peaceful property but my favorite part is whether your staying in the shelter or the campsite by the river you can still hear the sound of the river, and with just a short walk down to the river which makes it the perfect spot for some fishing or dipping in the water. even thought i did not get a chance to meet our host but kept in contact with us making sure we were well taking care of.
Beside it being the perfect spot to recharge yourself from all the stress of the everyday life. i really love how with just a small donation to host you can harvest anything that is ready in the farm, there's a perfect lil hiking trail just around the corner which i truly enjoyed its the perfect spot for a lil morning or afternoon hike.
Kayla provided us with Accurate directions prior to arriving on property, there is no Cell Services so make sure to acquire all needed information such as the lock box combo prior to leaving your house. Kayla's cabin is the perfect weekend getaway to just simply relax and enjoy the peacefulness of nature, if you're adventurous and looking for stuff to do it is about 10 minutes away from town and 45 minutes away from the Grayson highland state park.
This has made its way into my top 5 camping spots in north Carolina, with a vast space to camp practically anywhere on property, short hike to amazing lakes where you can fish, kayak, Horse back ride, or simply have a picnic, and with an amazing Host like Laura to show you around the possibilities of what you can do on this property is endless.
This is every horse's lovers dream stay with about 16 horses/ponies roaming around. you can camp out in the pasture with the horses but if you're not feeling adventurous there are other camping sites on property free of the horse noggin. There is plenty of other animals on the property like sheep, goats and chickens to play with, you and the family will never be bored. This property is the perfect place to come read a book and hangout with some animals last but not least they do commanded horse back riding just make sure to give a week advance notice if you'd like to come ride some horses during your stay.
upon arrival i was welcomed by two of the worlds friendliest dogs, secluded location with Beautiful horses down the road, it is the perfect spot to relax roast Marshmallows and wine down for the weekend.
