We had a great time at Folly Farm. It's such a beautiful spot and an easy way to get out of town from Denver--less than an hour each way!
Marcin went above and beyond during the reservation and arrival process with responsive and accommodating customer service. During our weekend at Folly it was definitely still a work in progress but Marcin has an awesome vision for this place and we'll definitely come back in a few months to see how the improvements and amenities are coming along.
The tent itself was immaculate. Really high quality, beautifully furnished, and perfectly clean. The campground had a full size propane grill, fire pit with a removable grill rack, and a picnic table. There was no running water available at the site at the time of our stay but we were able to drive over to the main building and fill up our jugs there.
The other tents were occupied during the nights of our stay but they are far enough away that you have privacy and no noise from the other camps.
The bathroom was also under construction but functional at the time of our stay. One thing to note is that it is a quite a far walk from the tents to the bathroom (5-10 mins), and there is currently only one toilet for the whole camp, so this may be an issue for some campers. You can also expect some noise from the nearby highway.
My kids had a great time during the day exploring the farm, seeing the goats, and running around in the fields. There's a lot of birds but no other pests around like raccoons to bother you.
Marcin has a lot of different projects underway at Folly, like bocce ball, other games, and new tents. Keep checking back and come see for yourself how cool this place is!
