Intro: I'm from PA, grew up just outside Hershey, then called Philly home for most of my adult life. For the past 2 years the RV has been home as I explore my way to OR, where my OTR bf & I hope to permanently (re)connect & relocate with our furry family.
I put in a VERY last minute request for an overnight stay and Kaija responded immediately, which was pleasantly unexpected (I’d really thought I should do an “instant book” but had favourited Cave Creek Camping previously, so...). Kaija offered us a spot on their circular driveway (with water and electric, if needed) because she said the actual campsite would be difficult to get to in the dark, and her driveway really was a perfect spot for an overnight! Flatter and wider than some campground sites we’ve stayed at. We were able to keep the truck and trailer hooked up, it was so level. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful — we slept great and had a nice walk with the dogs in the morning. I would definitely stay in her driveway again for an overnight, and, if we come through that area again and are staying longer, would happily book one of their campsites.
