This site has so much great infrastructure to keep you comfortable. Ray was helpful in showing me around the property and the best spot for my van. Close to College Station and only 10 minutes from I-45, the spot was in a fabulous location.
My time at the Samadhi Retreat Center was so wonderful. There are trails to wander around the property and I made use of the docks for a great reading spot. David and Dawn are both as nice as can be and we had great conversations over dinner. I really enjoyed my stay in the bell tower room - it was the perfect little nook to enjoy my time.
Donna was such a lovely host and I was so impressed by all of her plans to reuse different materials to create great spaces around the property. It was an easy pull up for my van. Quiet and simple, which was just what I was looking for after a long day of driving.
This site is so incredible. The beautiful lake surrounds you on three sides and you are tucked into such a great little nook of the forest. There were animals playing all around. Can't wait to bring more friends back here the next time I'm around!
This RV park is so pleasant. I think I was there at the perfect time of year because the aspens surrounding the place were amazing. Before I went to the site I went on a hike along trails nearby in the Flaming River Gorge. Everything at the park was in great shape and well taken care of. There's volleyball and basketball courts, water and electricity at my site (with different sites have different hook ups depending on what you're looking for). Would definitely come back here. It's in such a gorgeous area.
Isaac's property was so lovely to wander around. It is super close to Spokane, yet you feel like you are really out in the wilderness. The creek was so nice. There is a five minute walk out to the site, so you will have to be okay with backpacking your stuff out with you. Isaac was so kind and a great host. This spot is a great site to spend a relaxing few nights.
Ravensong is a incredible spot. Our campsite simply could not have been any better. It is tucked away in the trees that opens into a clearing and sits right next to a pond. The night sky was clear with stars and the morning was so lovely and quiet. There's a dock to dangle your feet off of and a huge bench that we actually used as a table as well since we made breakfast on it. The property is so incredible. Erin and Issa were both so lovely. Issa gave me a tour around the property. His structures (he is a phenomenal carpenter and designer) were absolutely stunning and so much thought has been put into every piece here. I am already hoping to be back soon. I can't recommend this place enough!
Sage and his family were so nice to meet out at their property. The forest is so impressive and it was clear that they all adored the space they had. The path back to the campsite I chose was well developed, though there are a bunch of other places I could have camped as well. There were seemingly endless blackberries, which were icing on the cake. The creeks were nice to hang around at. The water was so, so clear! Enjoyed the time I spent here. Would be excited to head back one day!
My stay was so nice here. We had good conversations around the dinner table, then Taylore took me on a walk around the property. It kept getting better and better and I loved hearing the evolution of it all from her. So much work has gone into this place and it really shows. The campsite had a great little creek next to it, though there are about a million other places to choose from as well if you wish. This spot really showed off how great Washington is.
There is a neat little group of structures that Wendy has assembled on her property. I didn't meet anyone else while I was there (the other guests arrived later and I'm a super early bird), but it was neat to see the different tiny homes, RV and yurt. The camping space was simple and the classic PNW landscape always blows me away. There was a communal space RV, with a stove for making dinner and great couch to hang out on, etc.
