The beach has lifeguards available. This beach is fantastic but sometimes bustling in high season. You can walk to the food and ice cream stand on the opposite side of the street. There are bathroom facilities beachside.
Covell beach is a smaller one off of the larger Craigville Beach at the same address, on Craigville Beach Road. It also offers beautiful landscaping and amenities.

The Sandy Neck Beach is a long beautiful beach with large sand dunes. In the summer, get there early before the parking is full.
Lake Wequaquet is well-known for its largemouth bass, and also more recently for its smallmouth bass. Other popular fish species include trout, pickerel, and yellow perch. Shore fishing is limited to mostly the boat ramp area and the town right-a-way.
Right off your tent in our fresh water pond.You will catch small fresh water bass for dinner. Canoeing and Kayaking are allowed on our pond.No motorized anything.
Boating on Lake Wequaquet:
Boating is nice on the lake. The boat launch is paved and owned by the town on Shootfly Hill Road, in Centerville. Motorized boats are allowed, but with a limit of 35 mph. During the busy tourist season, boaters can launch their boats, but need to park on the road. The beach can be used to park during the off-season.
