This unique and beautiful 96 acres, spent most of last century as a remote ranch occupied by an eccentric aviator and industrial collector. He could often be seen piloting this single piston driven plane around these rolling hills and the river filled valley towards the Pacific. The ranch held a unique position as one of the last parcels of significant size land in private ownership surrounded by corporate logging interests.
Our vision to return this beautifully secluded valley to a more natural state while integrating earth-centered organic farming and permaculture practices, was too strong to ignore. We purchased the property in 2015 deciding to steward it into a restorative and relaxing space where people could come commune with each other and the land. Our exploration and understanding of it continues. We've gotten to know certain significant trees and special spots and would love for you to enjoy them too.
The ensuing years have seen groups large and small come to enjoy this land. Festivals full of hundreds and solo campers here for the serenity alike enjoy the abundant beauty and resilience of a space moving at nature's pace. We hope you will come share this adventure in sustainability and community with us by finding natures magic in these hills.
