Folly Foot Farm Frolic was a perfect place for our family of 6 to hang out at and relax in between stops down to Big Sur. Livia makes this place comfortable and inviting to all, even our dog. We set up a tent and never stepped off the ranch the two full days we were there. Our kids enjoyed the pool and pool table all day long. Cooking, cleaning, showers, and fires were easy and very accessible. We also enjoyed meeting others from around the world.
We had the most relaxing weekend celebrating my beloved’s birthday. The treehouse was stunning and we felt like we were in a sacred home with the red trees as our spaceship taking us on a beautiful adventure. The breakfasts were beyond good. We didn’t actually ever need to eat lunch because of the delicious breakfast. The staff is very nice and easy to chat with. We didn’t want to leave at all and will be back. We brought charcuterie fixings for dinner and picnics at the beaches. And didn’t find a need to go out for dinner. This place is magical!! We even came home with two bunnies from the ranch!
If you need time to reconnect or just keep that connection with your partner alive I recommend the treehouse and at minimum three nights.
This secret hide away from the world was magical, our favorite night and the perfect ending to our 7 day camping trip. My two young children and I stayed in the tree house and had a blast. The creek was the perfect spot for us to cool down and the water also tasted really good!
The treehouse is stocked with a bin full of kitchen camping gear which made setting and unloading our car so much easier especially for a single parent. We also went to Castle Lake which is recommended by Gary's info sheet. It is a beautiful lake with very few people.
We never met Gary in person, but he was extremely helpful and quick to respond via text.
Amy, Charles and their two kids were so friendly and wonderful! My kids keep asking to go back and play. Amy had homemade bread waiting for us in the RV and there was anything you would need, really. Even a floaty for the lake. We really enjoyed our stay and feel like we made new friends.
This was a beautiful ranch to stay at for our first night near Bend. My kids loved roaming around the open areas and seeing the animals. The view of Mount Bachelor is beautiful and the stars at night even better.
Tipi Village Retreat is a beautiful, charming and restorative. The tipis were comfortable and inviting and the owners so very nice. The make an amazing breakfast that really fills you up for the day as well as a great cup of coffee. The hot tub was a beautiful place to soak in while looking at the moon and listening to the babbling creek.
My young children loved the chickens and the paths to explore and to ride their bikes. Great for families or a romantic getaway.
This was a perfect spot to pitch a tent for the night while driving on I-5. Jeremy, the owner was so very nice. He even offered coffee and muffins to us while using the bathroom. There are dogs around, but they are sweet.
The neighboring farmer let us pick some peaches to take on the road too!!
